Property management is used by real estate developers to find tenants to fill their homes and buildings. Developers can be their own property managers, they can hire them out, or they can skip it altogether with a lease option. This video will explain some of the ins and outs of property management.
Most property managers do not sell lease options. They find tenants and replace them. They’re also going to collect the money for rent from tenants. This can be a good option for people who don’t feel they will make good landlords. You can skip being the “bad guy” at the first of the month.
The property management company will also ensure that the contract the tenants sign are appropriate and legally sound. They will enforce all of the fines for broken contract agreements, too. This includes evictions.
Part of the reason evictions happen in the first place is because inexperienced property managers will choose tenants unwisely. It’s understandable, as they don’t have as much experience, but it shows the importance of an experienced property manager. They will be able to select the best tenants possible.
